Oh! My Lady

The 16 episode series finally came to an end and I’d have to say it was a decent watch.  The highlight, for me, would be the 2 child actresses who were unbelievably adorable.  Of course, most people watched it for the sake of Si Won from Super Junior, who played the male lead.  I thought he was pretty okay in it.  The ending itself felt average and I felt like it could have been better.  Overall the series was good and a fun watch.

The story is about single mother and divorcée Yoon Gae Hwa who is having a hard time making ends meet while trying to raise her child.  She works as a maid for a cleaning company and one day lands a job working as a maid for top celebrity Sung Min Woo.  Due to her busybody nature and carelessness Gae Hwa quickly finds herself fired, causing her to give up custody of her child.  Things start to look up when she snags a job at a production company for musicals on the condition that she gets Min Woo to sign as the male lead of an upcoming musical.  Gae Hwa discovers the custody of Min Woo’s daughter, whom he had no idea about, being thrust upon him by an ex-girlfriend. Min Woo knows nothing about kids and taking care of them while Gae Hwa, who is in need of money and a job, has motherly instincts.  The two agree to sign a contract which entails of Gae Hwa living as a maid at Min Woo’s place and taking care of his daughter (Ye Eun) while Min Woo joins the musical.  The plot entails the two leading a double life trying to take care of Ye Eun.
